MoMA Cofee Table Book
Project Description
The cover and chapter page of this Museum of Modern Art coffee table book were designed for the Graphic Design I course from Sessions Online School of Design. This project involved designing the cover and chapter page of the book based on an artist of our choosing. For this project I chose Frank Gehry, a famous and very creative architect. The cover of the book incorporates a striking picture of Gehry's Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. The wording for the cover was designed to follow the lines of the building, instead of the typical horizontal and vertical grid structure of the page.
The chapter page of this book was designed around music and entertainment buildings designed by Gehry. The chapter page incorporates colors from the front cover, uses a typical grid structure and features some of Gehry's sketches at the bottom of the page to add some of his personality to the design.
